In arid and semi-arid countries like Botswana managed aquifer recharge (MAR) is a promising measure aimed at improving the sustainability of water that maybe used for various purposes. MAR has different uses including increasing water storage, improving the quality of water, filling-up over extracted aquifers. The various MAR techniques used are dependent and are guided by the aim/s of MAR in an area. The purpose of this study is to determine if MAR qualifies in the Seleka Wellfield to increase water supply for various purposes in the eastern region of Botswana
