This chapter deals with the mathematical modeling of M/M/1/N/K-policy queues using intelligent computational algorithms. Here, a modified control chart is generated to track the time statistics of each customer in the queueing system. We derive the exact formula for timeout with the geometric distribution of queue lengths. A special feature of this modeling is that the simulated hysteresis moment is used as a linear combination of the mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of skewness for the upper control limit (UCL) and the lower control limit (LCL). This K-policy is optimized based on a few rules to identify out-of-control conditions of processes below the 2σ control limit. Numerical analysis is provided to support the importance of deviation-based control charts using legitimate estimates of arrival and service rates, and detailed results are obtained for desired queues M/M/1/N/K-policy through best modeler simulation
