A new generalized class of distributions called the Topp-Leone-Gompertz-G Power Series (TL-Gom-GPS) distribution is presented. The TL-Gom-GPS distribution has the ability to capture diverse data patterns such as heavy-tailed, light-tailed and skewed distributions, as well as hazard rate functions that have monotonic and non-monotonic shapes. Some statistical properties of the new class of distributions are explored. For this new class of distributions, we derived the expansion of the density function, the hazard rate and quantile functions, moments and generating function, probability weighted moments, distribution of order statistics and Renyi entropy. Monte Carlo simulations are conducted to show the performance of the estimation methods. Finally, the usefulness and flexibility of the new class of distributions is examined by means of applications to real data sets
