The main argument of the book project is that more laws and regulations should be passed in order to increase the area’s financial inclusion. The SADC Council of Ministers endorsed the SADC Strategy on Financial Inclusion and Small and Medium Enterprises Access to Finance in September 2016, which will expedite financial inclusion programs in all SADC member states. The book discusses issues pertaining to financial inclusion and the advancements made in the area in that direction. The idea that formerly mistreated and excluded poor clients are demonstrated to develop towards financial inclusion is implicit in this technique. This book will also look at the numerous issues surrounding financial inclusion in the SADC region. Financial inclusion is the provision of usable and affordable financial goods and services, such as payments, transactions, savings, credit and insurance, to both individuals and enterprises in a sustainable and ethical manner. Since financial inclusion is linked to both economic growth and the eradication of poverty, it has drawn attention. In order to overcome the challenges in reaching the SDGs, one of the key objectives of this book project is to align financial inclusion as a policy and regulatory tool. This book project uses data on personal, business and government payments to link observed financial inclusion metrics to potential implications for macroeconomic factors like economic growth, employment, wages and poverty. The relationship between financial inclusion and the macroeconomic sphere is becoming more prominent. Financial education-related topics will also be discussed to assist marginalised individuals in making the shift from solely using cash for transactions to formal financial services that can be accessed via a mobile phone or other
