Data are bedrock of evidence based decision making and there cannot be any meaningful development without an appropriate and working data-ecosystem. A holistic and aggressive approach to active data ecosystem brings about data revolution. This is seen as compendium of emerging disruptive statistical tools and technologies which is positioned as great step in enabling integrated analytics for sustainable development. This paper discusses key driving fingers of open data bank that are fundamental to the mobilization and sustenance of data revolution in Africa development. We provide ways of addressing these driving fingers to achieve sustainable goals in data revolution.
